As a Behavior Technician (BT) Intern, you will engage in a structured, hands-on training program under licensed supervision. Your primary responsibilities include: - Implementing behavior intervention plans (BIPs) developed by supervising Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs). - Collecting and recording data on client behaviors and skill acquisition during therapy sessions. - Assisting clients in developing communication, social, and daily living skills through evidence-based techniques. - Maintaining a safe, supportive, and engaging environment during sessions. - Collaborating with supervisors and team members to adjust interventions based on client progress. - Preparing session materials and documenting session notes in compliance with ethical and regulatory standards. - Participating in ongoing training and supervision meetings to enhance clinical skills. - Preparing for the Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) licensing exam through guided study and practical application. This internship is designed to provide direct client interaction and supervised fieldwork, ensuring you gain the practical experience necessary for RBT certification and future employment.
