Apprentice Leisure Club Apprentice - Nottingham

As an Apprentice Leisure Club Assistant at Eastwood Hall, you will support the daily operations of the leisure club, ensuring a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for all members and guests. Your responsibilities will include: Customer Service: Greet and assist members and guests, handle inquiries, and promote club services and facilities. Facility Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in all areas, including the gym, pool, changing rooms, and reception. Ensure equipment is properly stored and in good working order. Operational Support: Assist with opening and closing procedures, monitor pool and gym safety, and report any maintenance issues or hazards to the Leisure Club Manager. Health and Safety: Follow all health and safety policies, including emergency procedures, and ensure members adhere to club rules. Administration: Support with membership sign-ups, booking systems, and general administrative tasks as needed. Team Collaboration: Work closely with the leisure club team to deliver a high-quality experience and contribute to a positive team environment. Learning and Development: Actively participate in the apprenticeship program, completing all required training and assessments to develop skills in leisure operations, customer service, and health and safety.

To be successful in this role, you should have: - A genuine interest in health, fitness, and leisure activities. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and approachable manner. - Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and evenings, as part of a 40-hour weekly schedule (Monday to Sunday). - Basic numeracy and literacy skills for handling bookings and administrative tasks. - A proactive attitude and willingness to learn through the apprenticeship program. - No prior experience is required, but a passion for customer service and teamwork is essential. - Must be eligible to work in the UK and meet the apprenticeship funding criteria.
