To be considered for this role, you should have a strong interest in practical, hands-on tasks and a curiosity about how materials are made and function. A background in chemistry or related sciences is beneficial, though no formal experience is required as full training will be provided. You must be willing to combine college study with on-the-job training as part of the Modern Apprenticeship program. Essential qualities include good manual dexterity, problem-solving skills, and the ability to follow instructions precisely. Basic computer literacy for data entry and record-keeping is expected. You should be comfortable working in a team environment and have effective communication skills. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with a focus on science subjects preferred.
