Apprentice Sales Assistant

As an Apprentice Sales Assistant, you will be the face of the store, ensuring every customer leaves with a positive experience. Your daily responsibilities include greeting and assisting customers, answering their questions, and providing product recommendations to enhance their shopping journey. You will work collaboratively with the store team to maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment. This involves restocking shelves, arranging displays, and ensuring merchandise is properly labeled and priced. You will also handle cash register operations, process transactions accurately, and manage returns or exchanges according to store policies. Additionally, you will support inventory management tasks such as receiving shipments, checking stock levels, and reporting low-stock items to supervisors. You will participate in team meetings to discuss sales targets, promotional activities, and customer feedback. As an apprentice, you will receive on-the-job training to develop retail skills, including customer service techniques, product knowledge, and sales strategies. You will be expected to adapt to a fast-paced retail environment, handle multiple tasks simultaneously, and maintain a positive attitude even during busy periods. Physical stamina is needed to stand for extended periods and lift or move merchandise as required. A commitment to punctuality, reliability, and following store procedures is expected.
