As an Apprenticeship Support Officer, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of apprenticeship programs. You will contribute to the continuous improvement of apprenticeship processes by identifying areas for enhancement and suggesting practical solutions. This position requires a high level of organization and attention to detail, as you will manage multiple tasks simultaneously, from processing paperwork to coordinating schedules. You will also support the recruitment of new apprentices by assisting with application processing and interview coordination. Overall, you will be a key point of contact for apprentices and employers, providing guidance on program requirements and helping to foster a positive learning environment.

To be successful in this role, you must have strong organizational and administrative skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. You should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with apprentices, employers, and colleagues. Experience in an administrative or support role, preferably within an educational or apprenticeship setting, is required. You must be proficient in using Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word, and have experience with data entry and record-keeping. A proactive and solution-focused approach is essential, along with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You should have a keen attention to detail and the ability to maintain confidentiality. A minimum of GCSEs in English and Mathematics at grade C/4 or equivalent is required. Experience with apprenticeship frameworks or funding systems is desirable but not essential.
