Engineering Technician Apprentice

As an Engineering Technician Apprentice, you will gain hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment focused on sustainable packaging. Your responsibilities will include: - Assisting senior engineers in the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of production machinery and equipment. - Learning to perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance tasks to ensure optimal machine performance. - Supporting the installation and commissioning of new equipment and systems. - Participating in continuous improvement projects to enhance efficiency, reduce downtime, and improve product quality. - Documenting maintenance activities, equipment logs, and technical reports accurately. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical issues. - Adhering to all health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures. - Developing skills in mechanical, electrical, and control systems through on-the-job training and structured learning. - Contributing to the implementation of lean manufacturing principles and best practices. - Assisting in the testing and validation of new processes or modifications to existing ones.
