Software Engineer Internships

As a Software Engineer Intern at Danaher, you will contribute to the development and maintenance of software solutions that support our diverse portfolio of life sciences and diagnostics companies. Your responsibilities will include: - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and test software features for web and mobile applications. - Writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code in languages such as Java, Python, C++, or JavaScript. - Participating in code reviews and providing constructive feedback to peers. - Debugging and resolving software defects to ensure high-quality deliverables. - Assisting in the integration of software components with hardware systems, where applicable. - Contributing to the documentation of software architecture, design decisions, and user guides. - Engaging in agile development processes, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives. - Exploring new technologies and tools to improve development efficiency and product performance. - Supporting the deployment and monitoring of software in production environments. - Participating in team meetings and presenting progress updates to stakeholders.

To be considered for this internship, you should have: - Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. - Strong programming skills in at least one of the following: Java, Python, C++, or JavaScript. - Familiarity with software development methodologies, such as Agile or Scrum. - Experience with version control systems, preferably Git. - Basic understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design. - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. - Effective communication and teamwork abilities. - Prior internship or project experience in software development is a plus. - Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) or database systems (e.g., SQL, NoSQL) is advantageous.
