岗位职责
Under the supervision and/or direction of the Registered Nurse, the Nurse Extern I performs various direct patient care activities in accordance with the Nursing Department policies and procedures. The role involves assisting with the care of hospitalized patients, including tasks such as monitoring vital signs, assisting with activities of daily living, and providing basic patient support. The Nurse Extern I may be assigned other functions in accordance with hospital/department policies, procedures, and protocols. Responsibilities are organized to support patient care under the guidance of licensed nursing staff, ensuring a safe and therapeutic environment. The position is part of a nursing internship program designed to provide hands-on clinical experience while enrolled in an accredited nursing school.

Currently enrolled in an RN accredited school of professional nursing. Must maintain active enrollment in good standing. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Physical ability to perform patient care tasks, including lifting and standing for extended periods.
