Student Internship / Prevention

The intern will assist the McLean County Prevention Coordinator with a variety of tasks focused on community health and safety. Key responsibilities include coordinating training events for the coalition and the broader community, which involves scheduling, logistics, and communication with stakeholders. The intern will also collect and analyze data related to prevention efforts, such as survey results or program outcomes, to support evidence-based decision-making. Additionally, the intern will maintain social media efforts, including updating the Facebook page and website content, to promote awareness and engagement. This role requires in-person work at the Bloomington, IL office and active participation in the Bloomington-Normal community, with tasks that may involve attending community meetings, supporting outreach events, and assisting with administrative duties as needed.

- Currently enrolled as an undergraduate or graduate student for Summer 2026 - Available for full-time or part-time work - Willing to work in-person at the Bloomington, IL office and in the Bloomington-Normal community - Interest or experience in coordinating training events - Ability to collect and analyze data - Skills in maintaining social media (Facebook and website updates)
