Student Internship / Practicum Clinician

As a Student Internship / Practicum Clinician, you will gain hands-on clinical experience in substance use and behavioral health treatment. Your primary responsibilities include working directly with adults in residential and intensive outpatient programs, providing individual and group therapy sessions under supervision. You will conduct clinical assessments, develop treatment plans, and document client progress in accordance with program standards. Additionally, you will have opportunities to engage with diverse populations, including children (age 5 and older), adolescents, adults, and seniors, across various treatment settings. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support client recovery and participate in case consultations and clinical meetings. This in-person role also involves exposure to program development and quality improvement initiatives, allowing you to contribute to the overall effectiveness of treatment services.

Must be currently enrolled in a master’s-level program in social work, counseling, psychology, or a related behavioral health field. Requires a strong interest in substance use and behavioral health treatment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential. Ability to work in-person and adhere to clinical supervision requirements. Prior experience or coursework in mental health or addiction treatment is preferred but not required.
