岗位职责

As an Account Executive Sales Intern on the Canon Insights Summer Internship team, you will gain hands-on experience in B2B sales within the digital imaging industry. Your primary responsibilities include supporting the sales team in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, managing existing client relationships, and contributing to revenue growth. You will assist in prospecting and lead generation by researching potential clients, analyzing market trends, and preparing outreach materials. This involves using CRM tools to track interactions, schedule meetings, and maintain accurate records of sales activities. You will also participate in cold calling and email campaigns to generate qualified leads. In addition, you will support the preparation of sales presentations and proposals. This includes gathering product information, creating customized pitch decks, and collaborating with marketing teams to align messaging. You will attend client meetings and calls to observe and contribute to negotiations, learning how to articulate value propositions effectively. You will be responsible for conducting competitive analysis and market research to identify opportunities for growth. This involves monitoring industry developments, analyzing competitor strategies, and providing insights to the sales team to refine approaches. Furthermore, you will assist in managing the sales pipeline by updating deal stages, forecasting potential closures, and reporting on key metrics. You will help coordinate internal processes such as contract reviews and order fulfillment to ensure smooth transactions. Throughout the internship, you will participate in training sessions and team meetings to develop skills in sales techniques, product knowledge, and customer relationship management. You will also have the opportunity to network with professionals across the organization and receive mentorship from experienced account executives.

Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program, preferably in business, marketing, communications, or a related field. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) is a plus. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Interest in B2B sales and the digital imaging industry. Must be able to commit to a full-time schedule from June 1, 2026, to August 5, 2026.
