DevOps Internship

As a DevOps Intern, you will play a key role in supporting the infrastructure and automation needs of our platform that empowers financial institutions. Your responsibilities will be organized into the following areas: Infrastructure Management: Assist in maintaining and monitoring cloud-based infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance. Support the deployment and scaling of applications using containerization and orchestration tools. Participate in incident response and troubleshooting to resolve system issues promptly. Automation and CI/CD: Help design, implement, and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. Automate repetitive tasks to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual errors. Collaborate with development teams to streamline code integration and release processes. Monitoring and Optimization: Set up and manage monitoring and alerting systems to proactively identify performance bottlenecks. Analyze system metrics and logs to optimize resource utilization and cost efficiency. Contribute to capacity planning and disaster recovery strategies. Collaboration and Documentation: Work closely with software engineers, QA, and operations teams to ensure seamless delivery of features. Document infrastructure configurations, procedures, and best practices for knowledge sharing. Participate in agile ceremonies and provide input on technical decisions. Security and Compliance: Assist in implementing security best practices across infrastructure and deployment processes. Support compliance efforts by maintaining audit trails and access controls. Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend improvements.

- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - Basic understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP). - Familiarity with Linux/Unix administration and command-line tools. - Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell. - Exposure to containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes. - Understanding of CI/CD concepts and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI). - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. - Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. - Prior internship or project experience in DevOps or related field is a plus.
