Programming JOB Training Program

This role is part of a one-year or less intensive job training program that combines in-classroom skill development with hands-on experience. Participants will engage in structured training in technical and professional skills, followed by an internship placement with a top company. The internship will be located at BNY Mellon in Pittsburgh. During the program, individuals will develop competencies in programming and related technical areas, while also building professional skills such as communication, teamwork, and problem-solving. The program includes personalized coaching and mentorship to support career growth, and participants receive an educational stipend. Responsibilities include attending and completing all training sessions, actively participating in skill-building activities, and successfully transitioning into the internship phase. The internship involves applying learned skills in a real-world business environment, contributing to projects, and collaborating with professionals at BNY Mellon. The program aims to prepare participants for long-term career success in the technology field.

Applicants must be young adults eligible for the Year Up United program. No specific prior programming experience is required, but a willingness to learn and commit to the intensive training schedule is essential. Participants must be able to complete the one-year or less program duration, including both classroom training and the internship component. Strong motivation, adaptability, and a desire to pursue a career in technology are expected.
