As a Travel Physical Therapist (PT) with Jackson Therapy Partners in Dunwoody, GA, you will provide direct patient care in a variety of settings, helping individuals recover from injuries, manage chronic conditions, and improve their overall mobility and quality of life. Your responsibilities include: - Conducting comprehensive patient assessments to evaluate physical function, range of motion, strength, and pain levels. - Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans based on patient goals, medical history, and clinical findings. - Administering therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities such as ultrasound, electrical stimulation, or heat/cold therapy. - Educating patients and their families on exercise programs, injury prevention, and home care strategies. - Monitoring patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed, and documenting outcomes in compliance with facility and regulatory standards. - Collaborating with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and optimize patient recovery. - Maintaining accurate and timely patient records, including progress notes, discharge summaries, and billing documentation. - Adhering to all safety, infection control, and ethical guidelines in the clinical setting. - Traveling to assigned locations as needed and adapting to different work environments and patient populations. - Participating in team meetings and continuing education to stay current with best practices in physical therapy.

To be considered for this Travel Physical Therapist position, candidates must meet the following qualifications: - Active Physical Therapist (PT) license in the state of Georgia or eligibility to obtain licensure. - Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program (Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree). - Minimum of 1 year of recent clinical experience as a Physical Therapist. - Current CPR/BLS certification (American Heart Association or equivalent). - Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare teams. - Ability to work independently and adapt to new clinical environments. - Willingness to travel and work a 13-week contract with a 5-day, 8-hour shift schedule. - Previous travel therapy experience is preferred but not required.
