Undergraduate Internship

As an Undergraduate Clinical Intern at Trillium Family Services, you will gain hands-on experience in a clinical setting, working under the supervision of licensed professionals. Your responsibilities will include assisting with client intake and assessment processes, observing and documenting client interactions, and supporting the development and implementation of treatment plans. You will participate in team meetings and case consultations, contributing to discussions on client progress and care strategies. Additionally, you will help maintain accurate and confidential client records, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and regulatory standards. You may also assist in coordinating client services, such as scheduling appointments and communicating with external providers. This internship provides an opportunity to develop clinical skills, understand therapeutic interventions, and learn about the operations of a mental health organization serving children and families.

Candidates must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate program in psychology, social work, counseling, or a related field. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Basic understanding of clinical concepts and ethical guidelines is preferred. Candidates should demonstrate reliability, professionalism, and a commitment to maintaining client confidentiality. Prior experience in a healthcare or social services setting is a plus but not required.
