Trainee Recruitment Consultant (Graduates Apply)

As a Trainee Recruitment Consultant, you will be responsible for managing the full recruitment lifecycle within a fast-paced, target-driven environment. Your primary duties include: Client Management: Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients in the engineering, IT, and technology sectors. You will understand their hiring needs, provide market insights, and deliver tailored recruitment solutions. Candidate Sourcing: Proactively sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, networking events, and referrals. You will assess candidates' skills, experience, and cultural fit to match them with suitable roles. Business Development: Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities through cold calling, email campaigns, and client meetings. You will negotiate terms, manage contracts, and ensure client satisfaction to drive repeat business. Sales and Revenue Generation: Achieving individual and team sales targets by placing candidates in permanent positions. You will manage the entire sales process from initial contact to offer acceptance and onboarding. Market Research: Staying up-to-date with industry trends, salary benchmarks, and competitor activities to provide valuable advice to clients and candidates. Administration and Compliance: Maintaining accurate records in the CRM system, ensuring compliance with data protection regulations, and managing documentation for placements. Continuous Learning: Participating in comprehensive training programs to develop recruitment and sales skills, with a focus on rapid progression to senior consultant roles.

To be successful in this role, you must have: - A bachelor's degree (any discipline) from a recognized university, with graduation expected in the summer. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and candidates. - A results-driven mindset with a passion for sales and achieving targets. - Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. - Resilience and a positive attitude, with the ability to handle rejection and work under pressure. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with CRM systems is a plus. - No prior recruitment experience is required, as full training will be provided.
