Intern - Microelectronics Architecture

The Microelectronics Architecture/Hardware Energy Efficiency Internship focuses on estimating energy consumption in computing hardware systems. The intern will analyze published data and research findings to assess energy efficiency. Responsibilities include: Estimating energy used in computing hardware systems based on published data and ongoing research. Collaborating with a team on a Department of Energy (DOE) initiative for Energy Efficient Computing. Conducting literature reviews and data analysis to support energy efficiency assessments.

Background in physics, electrical engineering, computer engineering, or computer science. Enrollment in a graduate program is preferred. Strong analytical and research skills. Ability to work with published data and research materials.
