岗位职责
As a Realty Specialist (Document Examiner), you will perform a range of duties related to real estate documentation and data management. Your primary responsibilities include entering and updating real estate data into automated systems, ensuring accuracy and completeness of records. You will request and draft various real estate documents, such as leases, permits, and easements, following established guidelines and regulations. Additionally, you will conduct research on real estate activities, including property histories, ownership records, and land use restrictions, to support decision-making and compliance. You will assist in responding to verbal and written inquiries, complaints, or claims concerning real estate matters, providing clear and timely information to stakeholders. Your role involves reviewing documents for completeness and conformity with legal and procedural requirements, identifying discrepancies, and coordinating with team members to resolve issues. You may also support senior specialists in preparing reports, maintaining files, and tracking project milestones. This position requires attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work with diverse real estate documents and systems. You will collaborate with internal teams and external parties to facilitate real estate transactions and ensure smooth operations within the Real Estate Division.

To qualify for this position, you must meet one of the following criteria based on the grade level:
For GS-05:
- General Experience: Three years of progressively responsible experience, including at least one year equivalent to GS-04, involving entering real estate data into automated systems or requesting/drafting real estate documents.
- OR Education: A four-year course of study leading to a bachelor's degree.
- OR Combination: A combination of education and experience that equals 100% of the requirements (e.g., 36 months of experience plus 120 semester hours).
For GS-07:
- Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to GS-05, including conducting research on real estate activities and assisting in responding to verbal or written inquiries, complaints, or claims concerning real estate matters.
- OR Education: One full year of graduate-level education in a relevant field such as Law, Real Estate, Business (including administration, management, accounting, finance, marketing), or Public Administration.
- OR Superior Academic Achievement: Completion of a bachelor's degree with superior academic achievement (e.g., upper third of graduating class, GPA of 3.0 or higher overall or 3.5 in major, or membership in a national honor society).
- OR Combination: A combination of graduate education and experience that equals 100% of the requirements (e.g., 12 months of experience plus 18 graduate semester hours).
All applicants must be post-secondary students currently enrolled in and making satisfactory progress toward a baccalaureate or graduate degree, having completed at least one year of the program. Experience may include paid and unpaid work, including volunteer service.
