PHYSICAL SCIENTIST (ENVIRONMENTAL)

【岗位职责】 应用环境物理科学原理、实践、技术和程序，使用既定方法执行任务并提供支持；执行多种技术任务，支持高级科学家或工程师负责的项目；使用既定技术调查不卫生或可疑状况；应用适用的联邦、州及地方法律、法规及其他指南，确保工作合规；有效且合乎道德地应对变化、复杂性和问题解决，为环境项目做出贡献。 【任职要求】 具备环境物理科学专业知识；熟悉并能够应用相关法律法规；能够处理复杂问题并有效应对变化；具备良好的职业道德和问题解决能力。

Basic Requirement: A degree in physical science, engineering, or mathematics that included 24 semester hours in physical science and/or related engineering science such as mechanics, dynamics, properties of materials, and electronics. In addition: For GS-7: Completion or pending completion of a 4-year course of study leading to a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution, with documented Superior Academic Achievement (SAA) at the undergraduate level. For GS-9: Completion of 2 years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to a master's degree or equivalent graduate degree. Qualifications will be evaluated based on knowledge, skills, and abilities in: professional knowledge of environmental physical science principles; ability to perform technical tasks in support of projects; and knowledge of applicable Federal, State, and local laws and regulations.
