Apprentice-Technician

As an Apprentice-Technician, you will work under the guidance of experienced technicians to learn and perform installation, maintenance, and repair of climate control systems. Your responsibilities include assisting with the setup and servicing of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration (HVAC-R) equipment in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. You will learn to diagnose system malfunctions, use diagnostic tools, and follow safety protocols. Additionally, you will support the team in completing work orders, documenting service activities, and ensuring customer satisfaction. This role involves on-the-job training to develop technical skills in system troubleshooting, refrigerant handling, electrical components, and mechanical repairs. You will also participate in classroom training sessions to gain theoretical knowledge of HVAC-R principles. The position requires physical stamina to lift heavy equipment, work in confined spaces, and operate in various weather conditions. You will collaborate with senior technicians to ensure efficient and timely completion of tasks, while adhering to company standards and regulatory requirements.

High school diploma or equivalent. Basic mechanical aptitude and interest in HVAC-R systems. Ability to follow instructions and work in a team environment. Willingness to learn through hands-on training and classroom instruction. Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, and work in varied environments. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. No prior experience required; entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply.
