Intern

As a Software Development Intern, you will work in a team of two interns on a concrete project used by our engineers. Your primary responsibility is to design and develop a software tool used with our photonic integrated circuit (PIC) inspection stations. The project involves retrieving data from inspection stations, processing it, and presenting it through a graphical user interface (GUI). You will be responsible for the full development cycle, including requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, and deployment. You will collaborate closely with engineers to understand their needs and ensure the tool meets operational requirements. The internship is hybrid, combining on-site work in Quebec with remote work, and lasts approximately 4 months.

Currently pursuing a degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field. Proficiency in C# programming. Experience with graphical user interface (GUI) development (e.g., WPF, WinForms, or similar). Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Good communication skills in French or English. Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) is a plus. Knowledge of data processing or engineering software is an asset.
