岗位职责
As a Manufacturing Accounting Intern, you will support the accounting team in daily operations and gain hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with the preparation and analysis of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
- Supporting month-end and year-end closing processes by reconciling accounts and preparing journal entries.
- Analyzing manufacturing costs, including raw materials, labor, and overhead, to ensure accurate product costing.
- Participating in inventory management activities, such as physical counts and variance analysis.
- Helping to maintain and update accounting records, ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including production and supply chain, to gather financial data and support budgeting and forecasting.
- Preparing ad-hoc financial reports and analyses as needed to support decision-making.
- Assisting with audits by providing documentation and responding to inquiries.
- Learning and using accounting software and ERP systems to streamline processes.

To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong academic record with a solid understanding of accounting principles (GAAP).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and data analysis.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Prior internship or work experience in accounting or manufacturing is a plus.
- Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is preferred but not required.
