Neuropsychologue interne/stage

As a Neuropsychology Intern at our multidisciplinary clinic, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive neuropsychological assessments and contributing to diagnostic clarification. Your primary duties include administering, scoring, and interpreting standardized neuropsychological tests for a diverse patient population (children, adolescents, adults, and seniors). You will write detailed assessment reports, integrating clinical observations, test results, and background information to formulate diagnostic impressions and recommendations. You will participate in team meetings to discuss cases and collaborate with other professionals (psychologists, neuropsychologists, speech-language pathologists, psychoeducators) to ensure integrated patient care. Additionally, you will assist in developing and implementing individualized intervention plans based on assessment findings. You will maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with professional and legal standards. You will also have the opportunity to engage in clinical research projects and contribute to the development of assessment protocols. Your role will involve direct patient contact, including conducting clinical interviews and providing feedback to patients and their families regarding assessment results and recommendations.

Currently enrolled in a recognized doctoral program in psychology (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) with a specialization in neuropsychology. Completion of relevant coursework in neuropsychology, psychometrics, and clinical assessment. Previous experience in administering and scoring neuropsychological tests (e.g., WAIS, WMS, DKEFS, CVLT) is required. Strong knowledge of neuroanatomy and brain-behavior relationships. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal) in French. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail. Familiarity with ethical guidelines and standards of practice for psychologists in Quebec. Bilingualism (French/English) is an asset.
