Junior Buyer Intern

As a Junior Buyer Intern, you will support the procurement and supply chain operations by managing purchase requisitions, tracking costs, and maintaining inventory data. Your key responsibilities include: - Creating and updating purchase requisitions in the LES system. - Supporting supplier management by ensuring costs are accurately tracked and reported. - Generating various inventory reports to monitor stock levels and movements. - Entering and maintaining data in the ERP system at the inventory items level. - Following up with customers and suppliers on invoices and submissions to ensure timely processing. - Entering customer purchase request data into relevant systems. - Supporting the management of day-to-day relationships with external partners, including vendors and suppliers. - Generating performance reports for the supply chain team to track key metrics. - Responding effectively to requests from internal teams and external stakeholders. This role provides hands-on experience in procurement, inventory management, and supplier coordination within a structured supply chain environment.

To be successful in this role, you should have: - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. - Basic understanding of procurement or supply chain processes. - Proficiency in data entry and familiarity with ERP systems (preferred). - Ability to generate and interpret inventory reports. - Effective communication skills for interacting with customers and suppliers. - Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload. - Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
