Associate Software Engineer

As an Associate Software Engineer, you will contribute to the development and maintenance of software systems that power intelligent security solutions. Your responsibilities will include: Software Development: Design, code, test, and debug software applications using modern programming languages and frameworks. Collaborate with senior engineers to implement features and enhancements for threat detection and analytics platforms. System Integration: Integrate software components with hardware systems, including sensors and AI-powered analytics modules, ensuring seamless data flow and real-time processing. Quality Assurance: Write unit tests and participate in code reviews to maintain high code quality and reliability. Identify and resolve software defects and performance issues. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, hardware engineering, and data science, to define requirements and deliver solutions that meet user needs. Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation for software architecture, APIs, and deployment processes. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with emerging technologies and best practices, contributing to the evolution of development processes and tools.

To succeed in this role, you should have: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. - Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, Java, C++, or similar. - Understanding of software development lifecycle, version control (e.g., Git), and agile methodologies. - Familiarity with databases (SQL or NoSQL) and basic web technologies (HTTP, REST APIs). - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team environment. - Preferred: Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), containerization (Docker), or CI/CD pipelines.
