CLIMBER / FIELD EIT

As a Climber / Field EIT, you will be responsible for performing hands-on field inspections and assessments of telecommunication structures, including towers, rooftops, and other elevated installations. Your primary duties include climbing structures to conduct visual inspections, collecting data on structural integrity, and documenting findings using specialized equipment and software. You will work closely with senior engineers to analyze field data, prepare reports, and recommend maintenance or repair actions. Additionally, you will assist in the installation and testing of telecommunication equipment, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations. This role requires frequent travel to various job sites, working outdoors in diverse weather conditions, and adhering to strict safety protocols while working at heights. You will also participate in training sessions to enhance your technical skills and knowledge of telecommunications infrastructure.

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. Valid Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification or eligibility to obtain one. Strong physical fitness and ability to climb towers and work at heights. Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions. Excellent attention to detail and data collection skills. Basic knowledge of structural analysis and telecommunications equipment. Effective communication skills for reporting and teamwork. Willingness to travel to different job sites as needed.
