Scaffolding Apprentice

As a Scaffolding Apprentice, you will learn and perform the essential tasks of erecting, dismantling, and maintaining scaffolding structures under the guidance of experienced scaffolders. Your primary responsibilities include: - Assisting in the safe assembly and disassembly of scaffolding systems according to project specifications and safety regulations. - Handling and organizing scaffolding materials, including tubes, fittings, boards, and safety equipment. - Inspecting scaffolding components for damage or defects and reporting any issues to supervisors. - Following all health and safety protocols, including wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhering to site safety rules. - Participating in on-the-job training to develop skills in scaffolding techniques, load calculations, and equipment handling. - Supporting the team in maintaining a clean and organized work environment on construction sites. - Communicating effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure efficient workflow and project completion. - Learning to interpret scaffolding plans and drawings to ensure accurate installation. - Assisting with the loading and unloading of scaffolding materials from vehicles. - Contributing to a positive and collaborative team culture focused on quality and safety.
