Develop tracking methods for deformable objects through research, implementation, and experimentatio
岗位职责
As an intern or master thesis student, you will develop tracking methods for deformable objects. Your responsibilities include:
- Researching and implementing state-of-the-art computer vision and machine learning algorithms for tracking deformable objects in real-time or near-real-time scenarios.
- Designing and conducting experiments to evaluate the performance of tracking methods on various datasets, including synthetic and real-world data.
- Collaborating with a team of researchers and engineers to integrate tracking solutions into existing systems or prototypes.
- Documenting your findings, methodologies, and results in a clear and structured manner, contributing to technical reports or publications.
- Participating in regular team meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and next steps.
- Optionally, if pursuing a master thesis, you will define a research question, conduct a literature review, and produce a thesis document under academic supervision.
This role involves hands-on work with deformable objects such as soft tissues, textiles, or fluids, requiring adaptation of tracking techniques to handle non-rigid deformations, occlusions, and varying lighting conditions.
