Human Factors Internship (d/f/m) - Inklusiver Job

As a Human Factors Intern in the Future Programmes team, you will support the Human Factors Engineering department in designing and evaluating advanced systems for defence and space applications. Your responsibilities will include: - Assisting in the development of human factors requirements and guidelines for future aircraft and space systems. - Conducting literature reviews and research on human performance, ergonomics, and user experience. - Participating in the design and execution of usability tests, simulations, and experiments. - Analyzing data from user studies and providing recommendations to improve system design. - Collaborating with engineers and designers to integrate human factors principles into product development. - Preparing technical reports, presentations, and documentation for internal stakeholders. - Supporting the creation of mock-ups, prototypes, and user interface concepts. - Contributing to risk assessments and safety analyses related to human-machine interaction. - Engaging in team meetings and workshops to discuss project progress and challenges. - Assisting with administrative tasks related to project management and documentation.

- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Human Factors, Psychology, Ergonomics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. - Basic knowledge of human factors principles, usability engineering, and user-centered design. - Familiarity with research methods, including experimental design and data analysis. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; German is a plus. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Previous internship or project experience in human factors or related field is desirable. - Must be enrolled for the entire duration of the internship.
