Metrology Test internship (d/f/m) - Inklusiver Job

As a Metrology Test Intern, you will support the Advanced Manufacturing Operations team at Airbus Operations. Your responsibilities will include assisting in the development and execution of metrology test plans for manufacturing processes, conducting measurements and inspections using various metrology equipment, and analyzing test data to ensure product quality and process compliance. You will collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot measurement issues and optimize testing procedures. Additionally, you will document test results, maintain calibration records, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in metrology practices. This role offers hands-on experience in advanced manufacturing environments, focusing on precision measurement and quality assurance.

Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field. Basic understanding of metrology principles and measurement techniques. Familiarity with CAD software and data analysis tools is a plus. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Good communication skills in English; German language skills are advantageous. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Previous internship or project experience in manufacturing or quality control is desirable.
