Internship (d/f/m) within Satellite Onboard Software - Inklusiver Job

As an intern within the Satellite Onboard Software team, you will support the development and maintenance of software for satellite systems. Your responsibilities will include assisting in the design, implementation, and testing of onboard software components, collaborating with experienced engineers to ensure software meets performance and reliability requirements. You will participate in code reviews, contribute to documentation, and help troubleshoot software issues. Additionally, you will gain exposure to real-time operating systems, embedded systems, and satellite communication protocols. This role offers hands-on experience in the full software development lifecycle within a dynamic aerospace environment.

Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Basic knowledge of programming languages such as C, C++, or Python. Familiarity with embedded systems or real-time operating systems is a plus. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team. Good communication skills in English; German is beneficial. Must be eligible for an internship in Germany.
