岗位职责
As an intern in the multimodal 3D sensing team, you will contribute to the development of AI-based semantic mapping for autonomous driving. Your responsibilities include:
- Researching and implementing state-of-the-art deep learning algorithms for semantic segmentation and mapping of 3D point cloud data.
- Developing and optimizing neural network architectures for real-time semantic understanding of driving environments.
- Integrating semantic mapping modules into the autonomous driving software stack.
- Conducting experiments to evaluate model performance on large-scale driving datasets.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to align semantic mapping outputs with perception and planning systems.
- Documenting technical designs, experimental results, and code for reproducibility.
- Participating in code reviews and team discussions to improve algorithmic approaches.
- Supporting the deployment of semantic mapping solutions on embedded platforms for prototype vehicles.
You will work closely with experienced engineers and researchers to advance the state of the art in autonomous driving perception.

- Currently enrolled in a Master's or PhD program in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong background in deep learning, computer vision, and 3D point cloud processing.
- Proficiency in Python and deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
- Experience with semantic segmentation, object detection, or mapping algorithms.
- Familiarity with autonomous driving datasets (e.g., KITTI, nuScenes, Waymo) is a plus.
- Knowledge of C++ and ROS is advantageous.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
