Internship in CyberSecurity

As a Cybersecurity Intern at Bosch Rexroth, you will support the team in safeguarding the company's digital infrastructure and ensuring the security of networked drive and control technologies. Your responsibilities include: - Assisting in the implementation and monitoring of cybersecurity measures to protect systems and data. - Conducting vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on internal networks and applications. - Analyzing security incidents and contributing to incident response efforts. - Supporting the development and enforcement of security policies and procedures. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate security best practices into product development and operations. - Researching emerging threats and technologies to enhance the company's security posture. - Preparing reports and documentation on security findings and recommendations. This internship provides hands-on experience in a global industrial environment, focusing on both mobile and industrial applications as well as factory automation systems.

- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles, including network security, encryption, and threat analysis. - Familiarity with security tools such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and antivirus software. - Knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux) and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) is a plus. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication skills in English; German language skills are advantageous. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Prior internship or project experience in cybersecurity is desirable but not required.
