Internship Hardware

As a Hardware Intern, you will contribute to the development and testing of robotic systems designed for industrial environments such as warehouses and factories. Your responsibilities will include: - Assisting in the design, prototyping, and validation of hardware components for robotic platforms. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate sensors, actuators, and control systems. - Conducting experiments and tests to evaluate hardware performance, reliability, and safety. - Troubleshooting and debugging hardware issues, documenting findings, and proposing improvements. - Supporting the assembly and maintenance of prototype units and test setups. - Participating in design reviews and providing input on hardware specifications and requirements. - Maintaining accurate records of test results, design changes, and project progress. - Contributing to the development of technical documentation, including schematics, test plans, and user guides. - Staying updated on emerging technologies and best practices in robotics hardware design. - Working closely with software and systems engineers to ensure seamless hardware-software integration. - Assisting in the procurement and management of components and materials for hardware projects. - Performing other related duties as assigned to support the hardware engineering team.

To be successful in this role, you should have: - Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field. - Basic understanding of hardware design principles, including circuit design, PCB layout, and mechanical assembly. - Familiarity with tools such as CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and simulation tools. - Experience with prototyping techniques, including soldering, wiring, and using test equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes, multimeters). - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate technical concepts clearly. - Prior internship or project experience in robotics or hardware development is a plus. - Knowledge of embedded systems, microcontrollers, or sensor integration is desirable. - Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or C/C++ is beneficial.
