Mechanical Engineering Internship

As a Mechanical Engineering Intern, you will gain hands-on exposure to design, manufacturing, and system optimization within the Multi-Fuel Conversion (MFC) project, focusing on cutting-edge waste-to-energy systems. Your responsibilities will include: - Supporting the design and development of mechanical components and systems for waste-to-energy conversion processes. - Assisting in the creation and review of technical drawings, CAD models, and engineering documentation. - Participating in prototype fabrication, assembly, and testing to validate design concepts. - Conducting performance analysis and optimization of mechanical systems to improve efficiency and reliability. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate mechanical designs with electrical and control systems. - Performing root cause analysis and troubleshooting of mechanical issues during system operation. - Documenting test results, design changes, and project progress for internal reviews. - Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives by proposing innovative solutions for system enhancements. - Ensuring compliance with safety standards and engineering best practices throughout the project lifecycle. - Supporting the transition from prototype to full-scale production by refining manufacturing processes.

- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. - Strong understanding of mechanical design principles, thermodynamics, and fluid mechanics. - Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for 3D modeling and drafting. - Hands-on experience with prototyping, machining, or fabrication is preferred. - Familiarity with waste-to-energy or renewable energy systems is a plus. - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. - Strong written and verbal communication skills in English. - Willingness to work on-site in Bali, Indonesia for the duration of the internship.
