M&A Internship

As an M&A Intern, you will support the corporate development team in executing mergers, acquisitions, and strategic investments. Your responsibilities will include: - Conducting financial analysis and valuation modeling (DCF, comparable company analysis, precedent transactions) to assess potential targets. - Performing due diligence by reviewing financial statements, legal documents, and operational data to identify risks and opportunities. - Assisting in the preparation of investment memoranda, board presentations, and pitch decks for internal and external stakeholders. - Supporting market research and industry analysis to identify trends, competitive landscapes, and potential acquisition targets. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams (finance, legal, operations) to coordinate transaction processes and integration planning. - Maintaining and updating deal tracking databases, pipeline reports, and transaction documentation. - Participating in meetings with advisors, investment banks, and target company management to gather information and support negotiations. - Contributing to post-merger integration activities, including synergy tracking and performance monitoring.

Qualifications and requirements: - Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field. - Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques. - Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. - Familiarity with financial databases (e.g., Bloomberg, Capital IQ) is a plus. - Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment and manage multiple tasks with attention to detail. - Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; additional languages are advantageous. - Prior internship experience in investment banking, corporate development, or consulting is preferred but not required.
