Laborers do not connect, terminate, splice, test, energize, or otherwise work on electrical systems. They do not perform electrician or electrician-helper duties. All skilled electrical work is performed exclusively by licensed electricians or separately qualified workers. Perform tasks involving physical labor at construction sites. May operate hand and power tools of all types. Clean and prepare sites, dig trenches, set braces to support the sides of excavations, erect and disassemble scaffolding, clean up debris and other waste materials, and clean or repair tools. Mix, pour, spread and smooth concrete. Install pipes and place cables or wires for electricians.
