The Sustainable Insurance Intern will support the team in building solid ESG frameworks for Property & Casualty (P&C) and Life & Health underwriting. The role involves raising awareness and disseminating a sustainable development culture across the company and among underwriters. Key responsibilities include:
- Studying topics and methodologies related to sustainable development, including ESG criteria integration into underwriting processes.
- Assisting in the development and implementation of ESG frameworks for P&C and Life & Health lines.
- Conducting research and analysis on sustainability trends, regulations, and best practices in the insurance industry.
- Supporting the team in creating educational materials and training sessions to promote sustainable development culture.
- Collaborating with underwriters to identify opportunities for incorporating ESG factors into risk assessment and decision-making.
- Preparing reports, presentations, and documentation on sustainable insurance initiatives.
- Participating in cross-functional projects to advance the company's sustainability goals.
- Monitoring and evaluating the impact of sustainability initiatives on underwriting performance.
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of ESG methodologies and tools.
- Engaging with internal and external stakeholders to gather insights and share knowledge on sustainable insurance practices.

The ideal candidate should have:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Finance, Insurance, Risk Management, or a related field.
- Strong interest in sustainable development and ESG principles.
- Basic understanding of insurance underwriting concepts (P&C and/or Life & Health) is preferred.
- Excellent research and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
