Data Automation internship

As a Data Automation Intern, you will play a key role in transforming P&G’s brand-building efforts through advanced analytics by automating critical processes within the Sales department in France. Your primary responsibilities include: - Collaborating with Data Asset Managers and Data Engineers to identify and prioritize automation opportunities that enhance data-driven decision-making. - Designing, developing, and implementing automated workflows and scripts to streamline data collection, processing, and reporting tasks. - Analyzing existing manual processes to pinpoint inefficiencies and propose scalable automation solutions. - Building and maintaining data pipelines that ensure accurate and timely delivery of sales insights to stakeholders. - Testing and validating automated systems to guarantee reliability and performance. - Documenting automation procedures and providing training to team members on new tools and processes. - Monitoring automated systems post-deployment to troubleshoot issues and optimize performance. - Supporting ad-hoc data analysis projects by leveraging automation to reduce turnaround time. - Ensuring compliance with data governance and security standards throughout automation initiatives. This internship offers hands-on experience in applying automation technologies to real-world business challenges, directly impacting sales strategy and operational efficiency.

To succeed in this role, you should have: - Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field. - Strong programming skills in Python, SQL, or similar languages for automation and data manipulation. - Familiarity with data automation tools (e.g., Alteryx, Power Automate, or equivalent). - Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus. - Understanding of data pipeline concepts and ETL processes. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. - Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. - Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. - Prior internship or project experience in data automation or analytics is preferred but not required.
