Product Manager Internship

As a Product Manager Intern at Sonio, you will play a key role in shaping the future of prenatal diagnostics by working on a product that leverages artificial intelligence to improve detection of birth defects and reduce stress for healthcare professionals and parents. Your responsibilities will be organized into the following areas: Product Strategy and Roadmap Collaborate with senior product managers to define and prioritize product features based on user needs, market research, and business goals. Assist in creating and maintaining the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with company vision and stakeholder expectations. Conduct competitive analysis to identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation in the prenatal medicine space. User Research and Validation Engage with healthcare professionals (e.g., sonographers, radiologists, obstetricians) to understand their workflows, pain points, and requirements. Plan and execute user interviews, surveys, and usability tests to gather feedback on existing features and prototypes. Synthesize research findings into actionable insights that inform product decisions. Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with engineering, design, and clinical teams to translate product requirements into detailed specifications and user stories. Facilitate communication between teams to ensure timely delivery of features and resolve any blockers. Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives as part of an agile development process. Data Analysis and Metrics Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success, such as user adoption, accuracy improvements, and workflow efficiency. Analyze product usage data to identify trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement. Prepare reports and presentations for internal stakeholders to communicate progress and insights. Product Launch and Support Assist in planning and executing product launches, including creating release notes, training materials, and documentation. Support customer onboarding and provide feedback loops to continuously refine the product experience. Monitor post-launch performance and coordinate with support teams to address user issues promptly. This internship offers hands-on experience in a fast-paced health-tech startup, where you will contribute directly to a product that impacts maternal and fetal health globally.

**Qualifications and Requirements** - Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Health Sciences, or a related field. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly to diverse audiences. - Demonstrated interest in healthcare, medical technology, or artificial intelligence. - Experience with product management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Asana) is a plus. - Familiarity with agile development methodologies is preferred. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment. - Prior internship or project experience in product management, consulting, or healthcare is advantageous. - Proficiency in English; knowledge of French is a plus but not required.
