Research Engineering Internship

As a Research Engineering Intern on the Core Platform team, you will contribute to the development and optimization of autonomous agents designed for reliable and scalable task delegation. Your primary responsibilities include: Agent Development and Optimization: Assist in designing and implementing core components of autonomous agents, focusing on improving accuracy and efficiency. Work on the Invoice Operator agent, which automates invoice processing for small and medium businesses, achieving high precision at reduced human cost. Research and Experimentation: Conduct research to enhance agent performance, including exploring novel algorithms and techniques for task automation. Run experiments to validate hypotheses and iterate on agent behavior based on results. System Integration: Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate research findings into production systems. Ensure seamless interaction between agent components and existing infrastructure. Data Analysis and Modeling: Analyze large datasets to identify patterns and improve agent decision-making. Develop and refine models that enable agents to handle complex tasks autonomously. Performance Monitoring: Monitor agent performance in real-world deployments, identifying bottlenecks and areas for improvement. Propose and implement solutions to enhance scalability and reliability. Documentation and Collaboration: Document research methodologies, experimental results, and code contributions. Participate in team meetings to share insights and align on project goals. Prototyping: Build prototypes to test new features or approaches, demonstrating feasibility before full-scale implementation. Iterate based on feedback from senior engineers and researchers. This internship offers hands-on experience in building cutting-edge autonomous systems, with a focus on practical applications that automate millions of man-hours. You will work closely with a team of experts in machine learning, software engineering, and product development.

- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field. - Strong programming skills in Python; experience with frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar is a plus. - Understanding of machine learning concepts, including supervised and unsupervised learning, reinforcement learning, or natural language processing. - Familiarity with software engineering best practices, including version control (e.g., Git), testing, and code review. - Experience with data analysis and manipulation using libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, or similar. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Prior internship or project experience in autonomous systems, robotics, or agent-based modeling is desirable but not required. - Fluency in English; knowledge of French is a plus.
