Internship - Data Analyst

As a Data Analyst Intern, you will play a key role in digitalizing international freight transportation by supporting data-driven decision-making across the organization. Your primary responsibilities will include: - Collecting, cleaning, and analyzing large datasets related to shipment operations, customer behavior, and market trends to identify patterns and insights. - Developing and maintaining dashboards and reports using tools such as SQL, Python, and visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to track key performance indicators (KPIs) for logistics and business teams. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including operations, product, and sales, to define data requirements and deliver actionable recommendations that improve efficiency and customer experience. - Automating data extraction and processing workflows to streamline reporting and reduce manual effort. - Conducting ad-hoc analyses to support strategic initiatives, such as route optimization, cost reduction, and service quality improvements. - Assisting in the design and execution of A/B tests and experiments to evaluate the impact of new features or process changes. - Documenting data processes, methodologies, and findings to ensure knowledge sharing and reproducibility. This internship offers hands-on experience in a fast-paced, tech-driven logistics environment, where you will contribute directly to the digital transformation of freight management.

To succeed in this role, you should have: - Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field. - Proficiency in SQL for querying and manipulating databases. - Experience with Python or R for data analysis and scripting. - Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, or similar). - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail. - Ability to communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. - Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote or hybrid environment. - Prior internship or project experience in logistics, supply chain, or e-commerce is a plus. - Knowledge of statistical methods and machine learning basics is advantageous.
