Perform site layout and measurement to assist with construction of commercial buildings. Install temporary shoring, bracing, and safety rails to ensure compliance with jobsite safety standards. Load and unload materials and tools from trucks; transport them to appropriate work areas using manual or powered equipment. Operate power tools and hand tools including saws, drills, hammers, and impact wrenches to assist with framing, prefab wall installation, and general construction tasks. Position, align, and secure prefabricated structural components using bolts, nails, or adhesives. Set up and operate portable generators to supply temporary power for tools and equipment. Operate various jobsite equipment including forklifts, boom lifts, and scissor lifts, in accordance with
OSHAand site safety protocols. Assist skilled tradespeople as needed with framing, demolition, and finish work. Maintain a clean and organized jobsite through regular housekeeping duties and debris removal. Perform inventory checks and material handling to support job progress and prevent delays. Serve as a flagger to direct traffic and maintain safety during deliveries or crane operations.
