As a Business Development Intern, you will support the team in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities to drive growth. Your responsibilities include:
- Market Research: Conduct research on target industries, competitors, and potential clients to identify trends and opportunities for expansion.
- Lead Generation: Assist in building and maintaining a pipeline of prospective clients through outreach, networking, and database management.
- Client Engagement: Support the preparation of proposals, presentations, and pitch materials for client meetings and partnership discussions.
- Data Analysis: Analyze sales data and market intelligence to provide insights that inform strategic decisions.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing and product development, to align business development efforts with company goals.
- Reporting: Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to business development activities and outcomes.
- Administrative Support: Manage schedules, coordinate meetings, and maintain documentation for business development initiatives.

Qualifications and requirements:
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in business, economics, marketing, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and research skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior internship or work experience in business development, sales, or consulting is preferred but not required.
- Interest in the insurance or financial services industry is a plus.
