Apprentice Trainer

As an Apprentice Trainer within the Learning team, you will be responsible for delivering training and assessment to apprentices in a structured learning environment. Your primary duties include: - Conducting training sessions for apprentices in trade-related skills, ensuring alignment with industry standards and company procedures. - Assessing apprentice progress through practical and theoretical evaluations, providing constructive feedback to support skill development. - Collaborating with the Learning team to design and update training materials, lesson plans, and assessment tools. - Mentoring apprentices to foster professional growth, safety awareness, and adherence to quality standards. - Maintaining accurate records of apprentice attendance, performance, and certification progress. - Supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the training program to enhance learning outcomes. - Engaging with stakeholders, including supervisors and managers, to align training with operational needs. - Participating in your own professional development to achieve formal trainer and assessor qualifications, with full support from the company. This role is based at our learning facility in Brisbane and involves direct interaction with apprentices to help build the next generation of skilled tradespeople.

To be successful in this role, you should have: - A strong background in a relevant trade, with practical experience in the field. - A genuine desire to mentor and develop others, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work collaboratively within a supportive team environment. - No prior training qualifications are required, as full support will be provided to obtain formal trainer and assessor certification. - Willingness to undergo a development journey to become a qualified trainer and assessor. - Commitment to safety and quality standards in a learning environment.
