As an intern in the First Nations Internship & Scholarship Program, you will contribute to solving complex and pressing challenges alongside curious, ambitious, and determined leaders. Your responsibilities include: Client Project Support: Assist in delivering high-impact solutions for clients by conducting research, analyzing data, and preparing presentations. Collaborate with team members to address strategic and operational issues. Problem Solving: Apply analytical and critical thinking skills to break down complex problems, identify root causes, and develop actionable recommendations. Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute innovative ideas. Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including senior consultants and subject matter experts, to ensure project milestones are met. Attend team meetings and provide updates on assigned tasks. Learning and Development: Engage in structured training sessions and mentorship opportunities to build consulting skills, including client communication, project management, and industry knowledge. To be considered for this internship, you must meet the following qualifications: - **Education**: Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program, with a strong academic record. Preference for students in business, economics, engineering, or related fields. - **Experience**: No prior consulting experience required, but demonstrated leadership through extracurricular activities, volunteer work, or previous internships is valued. - **Skills**: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; excellent written and verbal communication skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); ability to work independently and in teams. - **Personal Attributes**: Resilience, adaptability, and a willingness to learn in a high-performance environment.
