STRUCTURAL ENGINEERING INTERN

As a Structural Engineering Intern, you will support the engineering team in the design, analysis, and documentation of structural systems for various projects. Your responsibilities will include: - Assisting in the preparation of structural calculations, drawings, and specifications under the guidance of senior engineers. - Conducting site visits to collect data, inspect existing structures, and monitor construction progress, ensuring compliance with design specifications. - Performing structural analysis using industry-standard software (e.g., SAP2000, ETABS, or similar) to evaluate load capacities and stability. - Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to integrate structural designs with architectural, mechanical, and electrical systems. - Reviewing and interpreting building codes, standards, and regulations to ensure designs meet safety and performance requirements. - Preparing technical reports and documentation for internal review and client presentations. - Participating in project meetings, contributing to design discussions, and providing input on structural solutions. - Assisting in the development of BIM models and 3D renderings for structural components. - Supporting the team in value engineering and optimization of structural designs to improve cost-efficiency and constructability. - Maintaining organized project files and ensuring timely completion of assigned tasks.

To be considered for this internship, you must meet the following qualifications: - Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a closely related field, or be a recent graduate (within the last 12 months). - Strong academic record with coursework in structural analysis, mechanics of materials, and reinforced concrete/steel design. - Proficiency in structural engineering software (e.g., SAP2000, ETABS, Revit, or AutoCAD) is preferred. - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration and reporting. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Prior internship or project experience in structural engineering is a plus but not required. - Must be eligible to work in the country of the host company without visa sponsorship.
