Entry Level Graduates - International Freight Forwarding & Logistics

This entry-level role offers exposure across export operations, customer service, and pricing within an international freight forwarding environment. You will gain hands-on experience managing shipments, supporting clients, and contributing to the smooth flow of import and export consolidations. Key responsibilities include: - Export Operations: Coordinate and manage export shipments from origin to destination, ensuring compliance with international trade regulations and documentation requirements. Track and trace cargo, update shipment status, and resolve any operational issues that arise. - Customer Service: Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, providing shipment updates, and resolving concerns promptly. Build and maintain strong relationships with a valued portfolio of accounts, delivering above-and-beyond service solutions. - Pricing: Assist in preparing and quoting freight rates for customers, analyzing market trends, and supporting pricing strategies to remain competitive. Collaborate with the pricing team to ensure accurate and timely quotations. - Documentation and Compliance: Prepare and verify shipping documents, including bills of lading, commercial invoices, and packing lists. Ensure all documentation meets regulatory and customer requirements. - Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including operations, customer service, and sales, to ensure seamless shipment execution. Communicate with carriers, agents, and other stakeholders to optimize logistics processes. - Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency and service quality within the freight forwarding operations. Participate in training and development programs to build expertise in the logistics industry.

Qualifications and requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience). - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook). - Basic understanding of international trade and logistics concepts is a plus. - No prior experience required; training will be provided.
