岗位职责

As an Environmental Graduate Consultant – Mine Approvals and Closure, you will support the delivery of environmental approvals and closure projects for mining clients. Your responsibilities will be organized across several key functional areas: Project Support and Delivery: Assist in preparing environmental impact assessments, approvals documentation, and closure plans for mining operations. Conduct site assessments and field work to collect environmental data, including soil, water, and biodiversity sampling. Support the development of closure strategies, including rehabilitation and post-mining land use planning. Contribute to the preparation of technical reports, presentations, and regulatory submissions. Regulatory and Compliance: Research and interpret environmental legislation, regulations, and guidelines relevant to mining approvals and closure. Assist in ensuring project compliance with environmental permits and conditions. Participate in stakeholder engagement activities, including consultations with regulators, communities, and clients. Data Analysis and Technical Work: Analyze environmental data using statistical and GIS tools to support decision-making. Prepare maps, figures, and visualizations for reports and presentations. Contribute to risk assessments and environmental management plans. Team Collaboration and Learning: Work closely with senior consultants and project managers to deliver high-quality outcomes. Participate in internal training and professional development opportunities. Contribute to team meetings, project reviews, and knowledge-sharing sessions. Client and Business Development: Support client interactions and help maintain strong relationships. Assist in preparing proposals and scoping documents for new projects. Stay informed about industry trends and emerging environmental issues.

To be successful in this role, you will need: - A recent bachelor's degree in environmental science, environmental engineering, geology, or a related field. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). - Familiarity with GIS software and environmental data analysis tools is desirable. - Understanding of environmental regulations and approvals processes in Australia, particularly for mining, is an advantage. - Willingness to conduct field work and travel to project sites as required. - A valid driver's license is preferred.
