Professional Civil Engineer (Civil/Site Infrastructure)

As a Professional Civil Engineer (Civil/Site Infrastructure), you will be responsible for the design and delivery of civil and site infrastructure projects. Your primary duties include: - Developing detailed designs for site infrastructure, including earthworks, drainage, stormwater management, roadways, utilities, and grading. - Preparing technical reports, specifications, and construction drawings using industry-standard software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other design tools. - Conducting site investigations and feasibility studies to assess project constraints and opportunities. - Coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, including structural, geotechnical, and environmental engineers, to ensure integrated project delivery. - Managing project timelines, budgets, and resources to meet client expectations and regulatory requirements. - Ensuring compliance with local, state, and national codes, standards, and environmental regulations. - Providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and drafters. - Liaising with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies to facilitate project approvals and construction phases. - Reviewing and approving design calculations, drawings, and reports prepared by team members. - Participating in project meetings and presenting technical information to stakeholders. - Supporting business development efforts by contributing to proposals and client presentations.

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and experience: - Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. - Professional Engineer (PE) license or eligibility for registration as a Professional Engineer in Australia. - Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in civil/site infrastructure design and project delivery. - Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other relevant design software. - Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, including hydrology, hydraulics, geotechnical engineering, and structural analysis. - Experience with stormwater management design, drainage systems, and utility coordination. - Familiarity with local and national building codes, standards, and environmental regulations. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients. - Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Experience with project management software and tools is a plus.
